The high school students have been cooking up a storm in Laverton focusing on the international foods. This week they made pizza from scratch including using the Thermomix for their bases. Crusts were stuffed with cheese and the competition was on to which team could make the best pizza. The senior girls pizza was the clear winner with everyone leaving nothing but crumbs.

On the 26th of March, Laverton School turned out in a sea of purple to support epilepsy. We baked cupckaes and gave gold coin donations raising over $400! Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Mack, Mrs Thompson, Miss Simpson and all the community who helped support the day! Our next fundraiser will be for Red Nose Day… stay tuned!

Laverton School said good bye to Mrs Chris Boggin at the end of Term 1 and we now welcome Mr Kevin Riordan as Principal at Laverton School. Mr R comes from York District High School and has spent time in the Lands as well as in the Kimberly. We are very excited for new ideas being put forward and hope to see some new learning opportunities especially in the high school. Welcome to LA Mr R!

It was wonderful to see the students from both the Laverton Campus and the Cosmo Newberry Campus join together to commemmorate ANZAC Day at the Laverton War Memorial.
